We have a nice group forming on the other side of the Grand Ballroom for the Quad Stack bounty tournament. There are 118 here so far and more are feeding in from Flight C of Event 1 as they bust.

We found a few players getting some extra poker after already bagging in Event 1. Eric Piderit, Ashley Hine, and Solange Lucas are already set to come back on Sunday in the money for the Showdown opener and now trying to pick up some cash (and hardware) on their off day.

This afternoon at 2 pm we present a smaller buy-in tournament with a ton of starting chips and money available at the start. Event 5 is a $300 buy-in tournament with $100 bounties on every player.

They’ll start with 40,000 chips in their stack and the first eight levels last 15 minutes. Late registration and unlimited re-entries are available until the start of Level 9 at 4:15 pm and blind levels increase to 20 minutes.

This is another one-day tournament and someone will walk away with a Showdown trophy later this evening.
