2022 Showdown Event 8 Champion Maurice Hawkins

Event 8 of the 2022 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown was a $400 Black Chip Bounty No-Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry). A field of 194 entries created a total prize pool of $65,350, of which $19,400 was set aside for bounties.

A three-way even chop was reached at the final table. As the chip leader, it was Maurice Hawkins who was the official winner.

The St. Louis, Missouri native resides in Fort Lauderdale and boasts an impressive poker résumé, with 14 WSOP Circuit rings to his name, along with nearly $4.4 million in career live tournament winnings according to the Hendon Mob poker database.
