
Event 23 of the 2022 Seminole Hard Poker Showdown was a $600 Double Black Chip Bounty (Single Re-Entry). The tournament drew 200 entries, generating a prize pool of $65,000, with another $40,000 set aside for bounties.
A three-way deal was reached at the final table and Gabe Ramos was the chip leader, making him the official winner for his record-tying seventh SHRP major series trophy.
Ramos had been tied with Brian Altman and Michael Newman with six SHRP major series trophies, but now he s David Prociak and Raminder Singh in a tie at the top with seven.
“I’ve had a good series with two final tables already, but I was really going for that seventh trophy,” Ramos said afterward. “It’s nice to tie Prociak and Raminder. It’s really been lighting a fire under my butt to win again, and Yuval (Bronshtein) just won again too, so I have to keep it going.”
