Howard Mash

Howard Mash open-shoved for 3,100,000 from the hijack and Trung Pham reshipped from the button to get folds from the blinds.

Pham: AcTc
Mash: QcTh

Mash was dominated and the board ran out AdQh3d3sTs. Both made two pair but Pham was best to send Mash out in sixth place.

Trung Pham – 7,200,000 (24 bb)
Howard Mash – Eliminated in 6th Place ($46,596)

Fellows: JcJh
Gomez: KcJd

Gomez was dominated, found no love on the Ad4h3d flop, and was drawing dead after Fellows made a set on the Js turn. The meaningless Td river was dealt and Gomez was eliminated in seventh place.

Brian Metter

Action folded all the way around to Brian Metter and he shoved for 2,950,000 from the small blind. Howard Mash looked at his cards and quickly called in the big blind.

Metter: Kc7h
Mash: AhQc

Mash was ahead with the big ace but needed to fade the two live cards to send Metter out. The 6d5d5c flop changed nothing but the 8s turn gave Metter an open-ended straight draw. The 7s river paired him up for the double.

Brian Metter – 6,150,000 (25 bb)
Howard Mash – 3,100,000 (12 bb)

Metter: AsAd
Bianco: KsQh

Metter found a monster in the blinds and Bianco never caught up as the dealer ran out the Qc8h7c4dTc board. Bianco was down to 400,000 and eliminated two hands later.

Brian Metter – 5,250,000 (21 bb)

Muñiz: 8c8h
