The board came KsQs7sJd8d. Navarro paired his seven and eliminated Molis in 31st place for $441. It was the last hand of the level before the players headed off on their 15-minute break.

Mitsuru Sano

Mitsuru Sano was in the hijack and got into a preflop battle with the player in the big blind. The big blind got all in for about 100,000 and got action from Sano.

Sano’s KdKh was in great shape against the big blind’s QhQc.

The flop was Kc2c2h, leaving the big blind drawing nearly dead. The turn was the 4d and the river was the 5h.

The big blind lost the pot to Sano’s full house and after breaking down both stacks, it was verified that Sano held the slightly bigger stack.

Sano won the pot, the big blind was eliminated and the final 36 players are all guaranteed a cash of at least $441.

Mitsuru Sano – 218,000

Dave Wyatt

Dave Wyatt moved all in from the hijack for 86,500 and the player in the cutoff thought for a couple minutes before another player at the table called the clock on him.

A supervisor came over and started his 30-second clock. About 10 seconds in, the cutoff called and everybody else folded.

It was a race with Wyatt’s ThTd up against the cutoff’s AdQc.

The board ran out 9c8h5s9h4h and Wyatt’s pair won the flip to score a huge double up towards the end of the day’s first level. With 50 players remaining, the field is quickly moving towards the bubble with the top 36 spots finishing in the money.

Dave Wyatt – 182,000
