The $1,650 Purple Chip Bounty event drew the exact same number of entrants as last year and once again we have a stacked field returning for Day 2.
Jordan Meltzer won the final event of the 2017 Seminole Hard Rock Lucky Hearts Poker Open and is back with a good chance for another title. He returns with the chip lead but some tough players trying to chase him down including recent PokerStars Championship Bahamas Main Event champ Christian Harder and WSOP Circuit winner TK Miles.
The stacks are deep and the structure is slow, these 12 players will be able to showcase their talent all the way through until we crown the champion later this evening.
Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood Property Update
Preparations are underway for the development of an iconic hotel tower and resort:
Parking – Poker players are encouraged to park in Winner’s Way Garage to access both the Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown tournament space and The Poker Room
The Poker Room – Players may access the poker room by entering through the main lobby or via the exterior entrance on the opposite end of Winner’s Way Garage.
Inside hotel – Services and amenities inside the hotel will remain open along with regularly scheduled events and entertainment.
Everyone left is guaranteed to earn at least $3,406 on Monday, with a trophy and a top prize of $38,847 reserved for the winner. Blinds will be 1,500/3,000 with a 500 ante when play resumes, putting the average stack just north of 45 big blinds.
Day 2 begins at 2 p.m. and will continue until a winner is determined.

Registration closed on the $1,650 Purple Chip Bounty tournament and it drew 139 entries to the single re-entry event, the same amount as last year. The total prize pool is set at $208,500 (which includes $69,500 in bounties), easily suring the $100,000 guarantee.
