Michael “The Grinder” Mizrachi
The quick run for the payout desk continues after the money bubble burst but we have a few big names sticking around including Florida poker legend Michael “The Grinder” Mizrachi.
The three-time WSOP/two-time WPT champ would be the highest ranked player in the state if it wasn’t for some guy named Jason Mercier. He’s in the money here and moving up the payouts, quietly playing in the front of the room.
Others making it deep are Neil Blumenfield, Jason Gooch, David Jackson, Edina Pantinchin, Michelle Shah, Marsha Wolak, Jacquelyn Scott, Harrison Gimbel, Stuart Paterson, and Seminole Hard Rock Poker team member Stewart Newman.

Alik Sitnyakovsky’s lone ante
Alik Sitnyakovsky bagged up nearly 90,000 last night but was nowhere to be found this afternoon. His chip bag continued to shrink while a parade of players hit the rail.
As they hit hand-for-hand action, the rest of his table began counting down his ante chips. He made it all the way down to a single 1K ante chip when the bubble burst to put him in the money.
Sitnyakovsky’s spot was sent out on the next hand along with Seminole Hard Rock Poker team member Darryll Fish. The local favorite had a chance to put the field in the money earlier when he had an opponent all-in, at-risk, and dominated with versus .
The turn was bad news but the short-stacked Fish was able to slide into the money before exiting in 299th place.

It took about 20 minutes and three rounds of hand-for-hand play, but the bubble burst in Event 1 of the Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown $360 just moments ago. With 302 left and 300 heading into the money, Seminole Hard Rock Poker team member Mukul Pahuja and another unknown player hit the rail.

On Pahuja’s fateful hand, Fernando Halac limped from the cutoff and Pahuja raised all-in from the button for 121,000. It folded around to Halac who put the team pro at risk.

The runout
Halac flopped a pair, but Pahuja turned a draw. The river gave Halac two pair good enough to earn him the pot and send Pahuja home on the bubble.
With the elimination, the 300 remaining players were sent into the money.

Jeffrey Trudeau
Players are back in their seats after the first break of the day and they are 42 eliminations away from making some money.
There are two obvious top stacks in the room among, the first belongs to the previously mentioned Matthew Kuba but two-time SHRP champ Jeffrey Trudeau (pictured) isn’t far behind as the only other player at the 700,000 mark.
They should hit the money bubble this level and start hitting the payout desk.
Matthew Kuba – 742,000 (124 bb)

Julian Gallo
Julian Gallo though his day was complete, walking away as the dealer put out the river card for his all-in hand. One problem, he had the winner.
Gallo was all-in for 58,500 with and Trevor Samuels had him at risk with . The dealer spread the board and Gallow was walking away unaware he turned Broadway.
“I thought he had a full house,” Gallo joked as he stacked up his chips.
Meanwhile on the other side of the room, Matthew Kuba has quietly run his 145,000 returning stack over 500,000 in less than two hours. That looks like it’s good enough to give him the early Day 2 lead but things are pretty fluid at the moment.
Matthew Kuba – 520,000 (130 bb)

Ryan Dunn
Event 1 is down to 50 tables with ~450 players remaining, that seems like a lot of action but not compared to the 605 we had an hour ago.
Former SHRP champ Ryan Dunn (pictured above) is moving in a positive direction and is nearing 400,000 while starting Day 2 chip leader Jacob Ehlen dropped down to 250,000 and Seminole Hard Rock Tampa ambassador Wally Maddah lost an early 100K pot.
SHRP regular Edina Pantichin was among our short stacks who found a double. She was all-in with against Tim Kegel’s pocket nines and won the race on the board.
Ryan Dunn – 390,000 (98 bb)
Jacob Ehlen – 252,000 (63 bb)
Edina Pantinchin – 135,000 (34 bb)

Darryll Fish
Seminole Hard Rock Poker team member Darryll Fish had a little work to do at the beginning of his day and found a great spot to get it done.
He was all-in for his final 47,000 and Zach Goodman seemed to be pretty happy he got out of the way. After Reinaldo Troconis called, Fish tabled and Goodman exclaimed, “I knew it!”.
Tronconis was behind with , Fish caught a set on the board but Tronconis picked up a Broadway gutshot draw. The turn was no help and Fish found his double after the river.

Eli Levy
We expected a lot of action right out of the gates and that is what we are seeing. More than 50 players hit the rail in the first 20 minutes to keep tournament staff on their toes.
Seminole Hard Rock team member Jessica Dawley wasted no time trying to double up but she was sent out by Ira Marcus in an early hand.
Soon after we found Zoltan Czinkota with a three-bet shove after an early position open from Eli Levy. He quickly called and Czinkota was in trouble with against then the dealer spread a board to send him out.
Czinkota was trying to spin up a $115 satellite into a six-digit score but he was an early elimination on Day 2.
Eli Levy – 191,000 (64 bb)
