The 2017 Fun in the Sun Poker Open continued on Friday with Event 4, a $250 Big Stack No Limit Hold’em tournament. A field of 126 entries generated a total prize pool of $26,460 and for a while, it looked as if Event 1 winner Steven Bennett was going to win a second trophy in the span of three days, as he was the chip leader for the majority of the final table. In the end, the final four players agreed to a deal. The chip leader at the time was Julian Gallo, making him the official winner.
Hailing from Miami, FL, this marks Gallo’s first official tournament series win at the Seminole Hard Rock, and pushes him just below the $100,000 mark in career tournament earnings.
