After the break, John Curcuru’s stack went up, Zoltan Czinkota’s went down, and they went at each other soon afterwards. Curcuru opened under the gun and Czinkota moved all-in.
Curcuru called with to race Czinkota’s pocket eights. The board was clean for Czinkota until Curcuru hit the river to send the popular local home in 15th.
While that was going on, we lost both Neal Corcoran and Will “The Thrill” Failla from the feature table. Corcoran’s was especially brutal when he was all-in with against Matt Humphrey’s . He flopped a set on the board but Humphrey hit the four-out river to send him to the payout desk.

Billy Pilossoph opened to 65,000 and Ben Keeline called from the cutoff. Fariborz Zojaji moved all-in from the button for 365,000 and Pilossoph stopped to think about it.
After a few minutes, he released his hand and Keeline called after getting some chatter from Zojaji.

Patrick Mahoney opened to 60,000 from the middle position and Robert Womack moved all-in for 250,000 from the cutoff. The button and blinds took their time thinking it through but all folded before Mahoney called.

Upeshka De Silva
The penultimate day is upon us in the 2016 Seminole Hard Rock “Rock ‘N’ Roll Poker Open” Championship with only 18 players still here with a shot at the big title. What started with 760 entries is now down to only two tables and they return today at noon aiming for a shot at the final table.
WSOP bracelet winner Upeshka De Silva holds a huge chip lead at the restart with 6 million of the 22.8 million chips in play. His closest rival is Matthew Zaradoolas with 1.745 million and some other talented players trying to chase him down including Ari Engel, Mark Dube, Ben Keeline, and a dangerous short-stacked Will “The Thrill” Failla.
The two tables will be split between the ballroom and the Poker Night in America live-streamed feature table. They will continue playing today until only the final table six remain for their time in front of the TV cameras tomorrow.

Upeshka De Silva
With Day 3 of the 2016 Rock n’ Roll Poker Open Main Event in the books, the final 18 players have bagged up chips for the day and Upeshka De Silva will take a very heavy bag into Day 4.
De Silva has a massive chip lead over the rest of the field and finished the day with 6,160,000, more than a quarter of the chips in play. He has more than three times his closest competitor, which is Matthew Zarcadoolas with 1,745,000.
When play started today, there were 48 players returning, hoping to make a run at a title, but after just over four levels of play, 30 players were eliminated and the final 18 players were reached.
Day 4 starts at noon on Tuesday with one hour and 23 minutes remaining in the level with blinds of 15,000/30,000 with a 5,000 ante.
Levels will be 90 minutes long and the field will play down to the final six players before bagging and tagging chips for the day. One of the two tables will be live streamed on a 30-minute delay with cards face-up throughout the day.

Ari Engel raised to 65,000 from middle position and Erik Christensen moved all in for 215,000 on the button. William Jennings moved all in for about 590,000 from the small blind and Engel folded.

The board ran out and Jennings’ tens held up to eliminate Christensen in 19th place. Christensen will take home $12,890 for his efforts and that will end play for the day.
