There was a miscommunication which occurred during the $100,000 Super High Roller event. It was verbally communicated during play from a tournament staff member that two places would be paid up to ten entrants.
As the five remaining players bagged their chips for the day, the official payouts were provided. The official payout structure indicated three spots would be paid based on nine entrants – and this was communicated to the players when they stopped for the evening.
Players voiced their concerns to tournament officials and requested a review of circumstances. It was determined for the integrity of the game, the payout structure communicated to players during play will stand.
