Michael Laake was whittling away at Farid Jattin’s stack until Farid was down to only~400k.

After a tough loss vs. Derrick Simon early in the level, Ian O’Hara has decided to become the Terminator. This time Donald Lehn is the victim. Lehn went over the top of O’Hara pre-flop but O’Hara made the call. O’Hara, holding sevens had the lead over Lehn’s fours. After a small sweat with a gutshot on the board. O’Hara landed safely and picked off Lehn and his bounty.

Lehn ends the day in 13th place with an extra $2,196 in his pocket.

Event 21: Pevner Hits Big 194h

He’s a contender now.

Barry Pevner picked off a huge all-in play by Rachel Kranz.  On a 2h9d3h flop, Kranz went all-in and was quickly called by Pevner.

Kranz’s huge draw and bet was a gutsy play but it did not pay off as she got no help and Pevner caught a ten on the river to seal the hand. Pevner moves to the 200,000 chip mark with the win.

A rough day for Mike Dentale finally comes to close.

Short stacked, Dentale put it on the line with Js10s.  He was called by Ian O’Hara with AsJh.  Just like the rest of his, Dentale caught absolutely no help and is out the door.  Dentale picks up a cash of $2,196 for his 14th place finish.

Three handed play lasts for quite some time as there’s not one weak spot in this line up.

Scott Seiver shoves after a raise from Ryan Fee, and Fee cannot get his chips in fast enough as he snap calls.

Poker pro Jason Wheeler is rolling along here in Event 21. Wheeler holds the top stack in the tournament at around 210,000. The fun-loving online superstar looks for his third live title to add to his extensive resume including over one million in live tournament earnings.

We’ll see Jason can outlast this field and win the $37,648 prize and the title as move on to Level 15: 1200/2400/400 ante.

Mike Dentale’s rough luck continues.  Dentale pushed his short stack of around 22,000 in and was followed by an all-in by Ian Davis of around 100,000. Derrick Simon then follows with around 11,000 to the party.

Fate was briefly on Dentale’s side with a Kh3s3h flop but the board ran out 10s7s. Simon tripled up and Dentale won the side pot but ended up with less chips than what he had when he started the hand.

Michael Laake (button) and Farid Jattin got to the river with a bloated pot and a board of KhJh2s4cTs.  Michael shoved and Farid tanked for a bit, then let it go.  He dropped to about 800k.

Michael increased his lead.  He’s up to just under 2 million.
