Event 18: Calderaro Chipping Up 4yd5b

$1,650 Purple Chip Bounty No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)
Level 16:  Blinds 1,500/3,000/500 ante

So far this level has belonged to James Calderaro.  Calderaro has been pulling chips from all over the table to close in on the chip leaders Bradley Young and Aditya Prasetyo.

Aaron Massey and Patrick Peduto are chasing but still incredibly deep even as short stacks.

Five players remain for the Event 18 title as we reach the halfway point of Level 16.

Event 20: Joe Patalano Bubbles 5s6j5p

$300 Deep Stack Black Chip Bounty No Limit Holdem (Re-Entry)
Level 19: Blinds 5,000/10,000/1,000 ante

It took 20 minutes and six more hands after the break to burst the bubble. Joseph Patalano was riding a short stack and shoved for less than a min-raise after a Mike Dinardo raise to 30,000.

It was an easy call for Dinardo with AhKs and he was racing against Patalano’s QhQs. The race ended quickly when Dinardo nailed the AcAs8s flop. Patalono could find a Queen on the turn over river and was sent out in 19th place for no money.

Event 18: Ryan Van Sanford Eliminated in 6th Place ($5,205) 6u1n4j

$1,650 Purple Chip Bounty No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)
Level 16:  Blinds 1,500/3,000/500 ante

Ryan Van Sanford just couldn’t catch a break against Aaron Massey.

After Massey clipped Sanford once, he did it again here to open Level 16.

Van Sanford: 4c4d
Massey: 8c8d

For the second time, Massey had the larger pair and his flush draws blocked. And the board went mostly high as it rolled off QcJhAs6cTh to finish a tough night for Van Sanford sending him to the rail in 6th place. Van Sanford takes home $5,205 plus bounties for his efforts.

Event 18: Level Up, Color Up 1m43f

$1,650 Purple Chip Bounty No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)
Level 16:  Blinds 1,500/3,000/500 ante

The players have reached Level 16 and are taking a brief break to color up the 100 chips.

Aditya Prasetyo and Bradley Young lead the way with Aaron Massey closing in after taking away a large chunk of Ryan Van Sanford’s chips earlier in the level.  Sanford currently is hanging in as the short stack on the table.

Of course that term is relative as the chip average is currently around 73 big blinds.  With the players that deep, it could be a very long night for the final six.

Event 20: Color Them Bad d1019

$300 Deep Stack Black Chip Bounty No Limit Holdem (Re-Entry)
Level 19: Blinds 4,000/8,000/1,000 ante

Three times around hand-for-hand wasn’t enough to get the field in the money and those 19 players are off on a 10-minute color up break.

Daiane Mendez put her opponents to the test on the final hand when she shoved the KhQh9s flop but Muhammad Rahim and Antonio Hogaza let it go.

Only 19 players remain with 18 making the money.

Level 15:  Blinds 1,200/2,400/400 ante

Anthony Ruberto got hit with the cooler card to end his night.

Ruberto turned a pair of kings and fired his stack in but Aaron Massey was waiting with a flush he had made on the flop.  Massey picks up the bounty and Ruberto hits the rail in 7th place for $4,060.

Kevin McColgan came back from the break determined to build his short stack back into contention but unfortunately it didn’t last long. Bradley Young woke up with a hand and made the call on McColgan’s all-in.

McColgan: Jc9c
Young: 8d8s

McColgan got no help after the board ran out 3sTdKsAh7s ending his night in 8th place. McColgan takes home $3,019 for the 8th place finish.
