Eric Most (Midlothian, VA)

Hollywood, Fla. (January 13, 2016) – The first week of the 2016 Lucky Hearts Poker Open is wrapping up and our third champion has just been crowned. Event 3 was a $350 No Limit Hold’em (Freeze-Out) that drew 123 players and generated a prize pool of $36,900. After about 11 hours of play, 22-year-old Eric Most outlasted the field and collected a first-place payday of $10,699.

Hailing from Midlothian, VA, Most is currently attending school at Drexel Univeristy in Philadelphia, PA, but felt like escaping the cold for a few days to make his first trip to the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino.

“My buddy and I found a cheap rate for a round-trip flight and made the trip down here for the first time to play in Events 1, 2 and 3,” Most told us afterward.

That decision has absolutely paid off.

A former chess master, Most dabbles in live poker as a hobby and this score marks his largest live cash to date. However, Most won’t be parlaying his victory into any more events this series.

“Have to be responsible and get back to school,” Most itted, “but i’ll definitely be back.”
