After coming up short of a bag in yesterday’s Flight B, South Florida residents Daniel Pearlman and Michael Newman are giving it another go here in Flight C. The pair shares Table 35 occupying Seat 1 and 9 respectively. While Newman is a nine-time Seminole Hard Rock tournament winner, Pearlman, who owns two World Series of Poker Circuit gold rings, is in search of his first South Florida win.

“The blow pop was a dollar,” Newman was overheard saying to tablemate Charlemagne Benjamin giving him a hard time for his sucker.

Defending champion Scott Heiligman hit the rail and his seat is now filled with one of the $1,650’s newest entries, John DePersio. DePersio has already had success in the Deep Stack Series, finishing seventh in the $560 for $8,246.
